Navigating toxic work environments, beauty and burnout.
You’re not crazy. It’s the job.
🙋🏾♀️ To the ones who are exhausted but still expected to smile in back-to-back meetings.
🙋🏾♀️ To the ones who stay late, get passed over, and then get asked to train the new hire.
🙋🏾♀️ To the ones who wear makeup like armor, and skincare like therapy.
🙋🏾♀️ To the ones who’ve been called “intimidating” just for existing.
You’re not crazy. It’s the job.
And the system.
And the way the world was never designed with us in mind.
They keep telling you that it’s about mindset.
That if you just meditate harder, be more grateful, smile more—then the burnout will ease.
But burnout isn’t fixed by bubble baths.
Especially not when you’re the one holding up the whole damn team… family… life.
This is your reminder:
You’re not weak for feeling tired.
You’re not dramatic for noticing the microaggressions.
And you’re not bitter for wanting to leave.
They call it quitting.
We call it getting free.
At Pretty Girl Club, we don’t just talk about escaping toxic work.
We talk about beauty as resistance.
Softness as strategy.
And building your exit plan with intention—mentally, emotionally, and financially.
You’re not here by accident.
You're here because something in you finally said,
“This can’t be all there is.”
And you’re right.
Your first step starts today:
Print out your Exit Plan Journal Page and title the first section:
🖊️ “What I Know I Can’t Keep Doing”
Write without filter. Write for yourself.
You don’t need a 5-year plan. You can start today.
You just need to name what’s hurting you.
The clarity comes when you stop pretending.
The power comes when you put it on paper.
The Pretty Girl Club newsletter drops every Tuesday and Friday.
